American Association of Blacks in Energy
Atlanta Chapter
Greetings Impact Athletes, Family & Friends:
The American Association of Blacks in Energy (AABE) is an organization established to represent, initiate, and champion new ideas in energy-related matters. AABE also represents minorities in matters involving energy use and research, the formulation of energy policy, the ownership of energy resources, and the development of energy technologies in the United States. We need your assistance in identifying students that are eligible for scholarships ranging from $500.00 to $1,000.00 or more. The attached document provides the guidelines, eligibility requirements and application form.
All applicants must meet the minimum requirements listed in the guidelines. The AABE – Atlanta Chapter James K. Davis Scholarship provides assistance to graduating African American, Hispanic, and Native American metro-Atlanta high school seniors pursuing a Bachelor’s degree at an accredited institution who plan to major in business, engineering, mathematics, and science fields. Applications must be completed and returned by February 6, 2009 to be considered for the AABE-Atlanta Chapter Scholarship. Thank you for your support. Please call or email me with any questions.
Sincerely,
Joyce Famble
